The Project

The project 'Echoes of the Past – Heritage Futures. Vocational Educational and Training in Post Industrial Landscape' wants to promote excellence in industrial heritage education and training, by producing vital knowledge for unemployed people, like exworkers of industrial units that have recently been closed, school teachers/trainers lacking heritage educational skills, trainers of people with special and professionals working with postindustrial heritage and landscapes.

The overall goal of this project is to engage those specific target groups in systematic and sustained learning activities in order to develop new knowledge, skills and competencies by using postindustrial heritage and landscapes as an educational resource.

The main idea is to respond to some common key problems and to capitalise VET programmes and methodologies in the educational and cultural area in general and in specific in postindustrial landscapes.
